Impact Absorption System

Built with thick HDPE and impact absorbing high density rubber sections. t protects the driver and kart from inevitable bumps when drivers engage in spirited driving. The system is designed to make it impossible for another kart’s wheels from climbing over the kart in the front, thus preventing the deadly topple, which has caused serious injuries to the driver throughout the history of karting.

Braking

Our rental karts are fitted with an in-house developed Mechanical disc brake system that has been designed with the first-time driver in mind. For the driver, it provides progressive and predictable braking without the fear of accidentally locking out the rear wheels, spinning into the scenery. Not a great look, especially when they’re with a group of friends! Also, the brakes are operated by 2 cables, as a fail safe! For the operator – the brake pads and disc have been designed to give a reasonably long service life before they need replacement.

Powertrain

Powered by a Honda GX200 engine, these are known for their power, reliability and ease of service. The engine puts out 7 HP in its unregulated form, and is capable of taking the kart up to speeds in excess of 65 kmph depending on the track layout.

With a GX430 engine, the engine puts out 14 HP in its unregulated form, and takes the kart to around 80 kmph depending on the track layout. Power is delivered to the rear axle through a centrifugal clutch and roller chain.

Wheels & Tyres

The kart comes with precision machined aluminium wheels fitted with hard compound tyres that provide the optimum balance between grip and service life.

Bodywork

At Sygato, our engineers are committed to reducing the two forms of drag that have the greatest impact on kart performance: Form drag and Frictional drag. The bodywork is precisely engineered to deliver an aerodynamic advantage by cutting through the air and channeling airflow toward the rear of the kart, effectively minimizing form drag.

The decals on the body panels serve a purpose far beyond aesthetics-their specialized texture significantly contributes to reducing frictional drag. Additionally, these customizable decals can be tailored to the track operator’s specific preferences, ensuring both performance enhancement and personalized branding.

Safety

We place safety above everything else. A shield over the rotating rear axle parts protects against accidental tangling of long hair of women (and some men).
A remotely placed exhaust prevents accidental scalding of hands when exiting the vehicle, a common occurrence on karts.
